These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and The Pearl Boardroom (also “we”, “us” and “our”) governing your use of our website, our community platform, and your attendance at The Pearl Boardroom events.
By purchasing a ticket to an event, joining The Pearl Boardroom community once launched, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree with these terms, we are unable to provide our services to you.

1. Events and tickets
1.1 Tickets are currently sold via our third-party ticketing platform, Ticket Tailor. Booking a ticket through Ticket Tailor is also subject to its own terms and conditions, which sit alongside these terms.
1.2 We are not responsible for the availability, security or functioning of any third-party ticketing platform.
1.3 Ticket prices, capacity and event details are set out on the relevant event listing at the time of booking.
1.4 We reserve the right to change speakers, venue, timing or format of an Event where reasonably necessary, and will notify Attendees where possible.
2. Payments and refunds
2.1 Payment for tickets is processed by our third-party ticketing platform, Ticket Tailor, not directly by The Pearl Boardroom. Payment for membership fees, once membership is live, is processed by our payment provider, Stripe, not directly by The Pearl Boardroom. All prices shown for Events and membership are exclusive of VAT, which is added at the applicable Cyprus rate at checkout.
2.2 Event tickets relate to a specific date and time and, as a leisure service, are not subject to a statutory right of withdrawal. Under no circumstances will a refund be provided by The Pearl Boardroom to an Attendee unless we agree to do so at our sole discretion.
2.3 Where a refund is agreed, it will be issued via the original ticketing or payment platform and payment method. Processing times are outside of our control and depend on the platform and your bank.
2.4 If The Pearl Boardroom cancels an Event, we will offer Attendees either a refund or a transfer to a future Event.
2.5 If you are an individual consumer taking out a Community membership, you have a statutory right to withdraw from that membership within 14 days of first subscribing, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, email anastasia@anastria.com within the 14-day period; we will refund any fees you have paid within 14 days of receiving your request. If, at your request, we give you access to the Community during the 14-day period and you then withdraw, we may deduct an amount proportionate to the access you received before you told us you wished to withdraw. This right of withdrawal does not apply to Event tickets, which are covered by clause 2.2.
3. Free WhatsApp community
3.1 The Pearl Boardroom operates a free WhatsApp Group, open to join at no cost, as an informal community space ahead of the paid Community platform described below.
3.2 Joining the WhatsApp Group is also subject to WhatsApp's own terms of service and privacy policy. The Pearl Boardroom does not control WhatsApp's platform and is not responsible for its availability, security or functioning.
3.3 Members of the WhatsApp Group can see other members' phone numbers and WhatsApp profiles. Please only share information in the group that you are comfortable being visible to other members.
3.4 We may remove any member from the WhatsApp Group, at our discretion, for breach of the code of conduct below.
4. Community membership (coming soon)
4.1 The Pearl Boardroom is developing a paid community membership, to launch in due course. These terms will apply to that membership once live, together with any additional membership-specific terms published at that time — for example on subscription fees, billing cycles, and the platform used to host the Community.
4.2 We will notify prospective Members of the chosen platform, pricing and any specific membership rules before the Community goes live.
4.3 Members must keep their account details accurate and confidential, and must not share login access with anyone else.
4.4 We may suspend or terminate a Member's access for breach of these terms, including the code of conduct below.
5. Code of conduct
5.1 At our Events and within our Community or WhatsApp Group, you must not:
- behave in a way that is abusive, harassing, discriminatory or defamatory towards any other person;
- infringe the rights, including intellectual property rights, of any other person;
- engage in conduct that breaches any applicable law or creates liability for The Pearl Boardroom.
5.2 We may remove any Attendee or Member from an Event, the Community or the WhatsApp Group, without refund, for breach of this code of conduct.
6. Photography and media
6.1 Our Events are regularly photographed and/or filmed for use in The Pearl Boardroom's marketing, social media, website and newsletter.
6.2 We do this on the basis of our legitimate interests in promoting The Pearl Boardroom, as explained in our Privacy Policy, having weighed this against Attendees' rights.
6.3 If you would prefer not to appear in photography or video, please let a member of the team know on arrival and we will take reasonable steps to accommodate this.
7. Intellectual property
7.1 All content, branding and materials created by The Pearl Boardroom, including our name and logo, remain the property of Anastria Marketing Agency LTD (or its licensors) and may not be used without our permission.
7.2 Any content shared by Members or Attendees within the Community or WhatsApp Group remains their own, but by posting it they grant The Pearl Boardroom a non-exclusive licence to display it within the Community or WhatsApp Group for its intended purpose.
8. Confidentiality and data protection
8.1 We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
8.2 Members and Attendees must not use other Members' or Attendees' personal information, obtained through the Community, the WhatsApp Group or an Event, for any purpose other than that for which it was shared.
9. Liability
9.1 The Pearl Boardroom shall not be liable, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, for any indirect or consequential loss suffered by a Member or Attendee arising from their use of our services, Events, Community or WhatsApp Group, save that nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability which cannot be excluded under the laws of Cyprus.
9.2 Attendance at in-person Events is at the Attendee's own risk, save as set out above.
10. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our services, please contact us at anastasia@anastria.com so that we can investigate. We will try to provide an amicable resolution, where possible, within 7 days.
11. General
11.1 We may amend these terms from time to time. Continued use of our website, Community or WhatsApp Group, or attendance at future Events, after such changes confirms your agreement to the amended terms.
11.2 If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable by a competent authority, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
11.3 No third party is intended to have any rights under or in connection with these terms.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes), are governed by the laws of Cyprus, and the parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cyprus.
